Ingredients:


  • Packet thread egg noodles

  • 225g chicken – skinned & boned

  • 2 tbsp. oil

  • 2 cloves garlic – finely chopped

  • 1 onion – finely sliced

  • 1 can bean sprouts or 1 can water chestnuts

  • 2 large carrots – shredded

  • 3 tbsp. light soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp. sugar

  • ½ tsp. salt

  • 1 tsp. sesame oil

Method:


  1. Allow one layer of noodles per person. Drop into large pan of boiling water, and immediately remove from heat. In 4 minutes the noodles will be perfectly cooked.

  2. Finely slice chicken into thin slices to match the shape of the noodles.

  3. Stir fry the chicken in the oil for about 4 minutes until almost cooked.

  4. Add onion, garlic & carrots and cook for a further 2-3 minutes.

  5. Finally add the bean sprouts, soy sauce, sugar, salt, sesame oil and the noodles. Mix ingredients well, heat through and serve.
