The the 6th of June ‘06 only comes up every hundred years, so that’s a great excuse to use an impressive sounding title on one of my blog posts! Although the rarity of occurrence really makes this warning rather pointless, I’m sure any real sufferers of this impressive sounding phobia have had this date marked in their calendars for ages.

“let anyone with the understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a person. Its number is six hundred and sixty-six”

Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia, Number of the Beast.

On a (slightly) more technical note, it is one of the 12 days of the year that the American’s actually write properly. Day, Month, Year or Year-Month-Day are the logical ways to write the date, with the numbers written in consecutive order of importance. Plus, it is the day that changes most frequently, so surely that is what you need to know most, so it should be at the start.
