Yesterday we cycled over the Bealach na Ba, one of the highest hill passes in the UK. Spectacular scenery, good weather, some pain, and a well deserved late lunch at the Applecross Inn made it a great day overall.

This is actually three Corbetts (hills between 2500 and 3000 feet) but more than that, it is a really interesting hill to walk.

Some photos from my walk yesterday from Loch Arkaig, up Druim a Chuirn/Sgurr Càs na Breach-laoidh, then over An Eag, and Sgurr Beag, before going up Sgurr Mór. (Map)

It was pretty tricky going, with few paths, but the scenery was magnificent, and the weather pretty much ideal, if a little windy.
