A new service from the creators of the fantastic Wordpress is the Akismet comment spam system. Luckily I don’t suffer from that much spam, but I am trying this to see if it is much more effective than other techniques (and less intrusive than moderating every comment).

I just received an adblock update from Mike over at everythingisnt.com, that made me think that perhaps there are people who still don’t know about this easy, effective, and free technique to block adverts.

Another form of annoying advertising blocked thanks to the excelent Adblock extension for Mozilla Firefox.
IntelliTXT appears to be a per website script, that adds links into the page using DHTML popups. Not a huge problem, but annoying all the same as the script reformates the page puting horrible green links everywhere. More info on this [...]
