I have just applied a minor upgrade, or should that technically be transgrade, to my site from Markdown to Textile. Both are plugins that let you write HTML code in plain text using symbols like * and _ [...]

A new service from the creators of the fantastic Wordpress is the Akismet comment spam system. Luckily I don’t suffer from that much spam, but I am trying this to see if it is much more effective than other techniques (and less intrusive than moderating every comment).
