“Yggdrasil (Ash)”
YGGDRASIL uses images drawn from the Ash: the skeletal leaf, the pervasive roots. The third month is the month of floods and extends from the middle of February to March. New life is imminent. In many cultures, the great ash was a cosmic tree which linked the underworld, middle earth, and the spirit world.
