“Dance of Life (Birch)”
DANCE OF LIFE uses images drawn from the Birch: the leaf with veins which are so like the trunk and twigs of the tree itself. The Celtic calendar began after the winter solstice in December, and was symbolised by the self-propagating birch. There is something primordial here at this moment of conception and renewal.
