“From Death to Eternity (Elder)”
FROM DEATH TO ETERNITY uses images drawn from the Elder: the berries, leaf, roots and bark of a young tree. It is late November into December and the early snow is falling. The elder is the tree of doom, unlucky 13, and associated with death and disease. The spirit departs, yet there is a hopefulness in eternity as matter is recycled.
