“Life: a Relatively Short Time (Guelder Rose)”

LIFE: A RELATIVELY SHORT TIME uses images drawn from the Guelder Rose, or water-elder: the berries and leaf. The leaves mellow to a rich russet in autumn. This is the twelfth Celtic month, extending from the end of October well into November, a time of partial decomposition and disintegration: time is running out.
